Poems
Oblivion
Where do we go when we die?
Do our minds slip away into the sky?
I hope the life ahead of me is long with experience.
Because people who age bask in their existence.
Is there even a God up there?
With the things I've seen,
a world so cruel, hateful, and mean.
I am not afraid of dying,
but that kiss with death sounds so unsatisfying.
I must have faith,
for death scares me the most.
The day I meet my match,
I hope I'll have the courage to face what I cannot grasp.
All it Takes
When genius strikes, it's hard to grapple.
Holding onto the words, prepare for a brain battle.
The words flow out of me, I cannot stop.
My pen strikes the page,
they say in Hollywood that's all it takes.
With influencers and socialites, I think I'll take my chances elsewhere.
The people we make famous are often dense.
Sometimes it makes me want to crack open my head.
People with no talent, people with no morals.
It's hard to imagine what our future holds.
Parasite
We amuse we tease,
women aren't they special to please.
If only you knew, none of it was true.
She faked every O you thought she had for you.
She remembers your grin.
You were nasty and vile.
It made her want to rip the skin off her bones,
and banish herself to exile
Silence
One for the fire, one for the floor.
One for the memory, one for the door.
We trade our jagged edges for smooth glass rims,
singing the truth till the candlelight dims.
The morning is sober, the night is a lie
but oh, how we love the way that they die.
Whiskey & Wine
Should you ever need me,
lay your weary head and fall sound asleep.
Hold you in my arms, so I can keep
the silent memories of us, never weak.
Strong like whiskey, sweet like wine.
When we get together, we forget and intertwine.
I fear this is no longer a dream.
I wake up and begin to scream.
